Eka Vekua
Founder and Trustee

Eka Vekua has an impressive track record in spearheading charitable initiatives. She used the infrastructure of other foundations, such as We Help Ukrainians, Kyiv School of Economics, and Just Giving, to kickstart 20 projects in a year. These projects raised over £3,5 million and involved procuring medical equipment, medicines, and over 500 tons of essential goods for Ukraine.

As the logistics mastermind behind the charity, Eka built a network of volunteer drivers in Ukraine and London, established a green corridor scheme for goods delivery, and liaised with the railways of Poland and Ukraine for safe and fast transportation. She also organised the evacuation of 20 people from different parts of Ukraine. Thanks to Eka’s efforts, crucial medical equipment and supplies were delivered to hospitals in Ukraine, significantly impacting the lives of those in need.

Rodion Shishkov
Trustee

Rodion Shishkov is a distinguished entrepreneur in the technology sector. He founded the renowned Samokat and Buyk dark store rapid delivery services and, TRA Robotics, specialising in designing and building cutting-edge, highly automated micro-factories. Notably, he has collaborated with the esteemed British unmanned commercial electric vehicle manufacturer Arrival, and his firm has built production facilities for the organisation.

Rodion’s most recent ventures are Funkflow and Address Robotics, companies specialising in innovative construction cycle technologies, including automation and robotics solutions.

Lenka Chubuklieva
Trustee

Lenka is the CEO of LCUK Artists LTD, a distinguished London-based company that specialises in organising public and private events in the UK and Eastern Europe.

Lenka has been actively involved in organising crucial humanitarian aid deliveries to victims of the war in Ukraine, in close collaboration with an array of charities both the UK and Ukraine. Lenka has contributed to various charity events such as World Unite For Ukraine, Art Aid for Ukraine in London, and a drone show for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2022 (Lugano, Switzerland). Along with a number of the artists she represents, Lenka has launched a fashion brand called GUSSI that donates all its profits to established charities.

Eugene Matveichuk
Trustee

Eugene brings over two decades of expertise as an international disputes partner in a prestigious London-based law firm. Throughout his distinguished career, he has advised major private and state corporations and ultra-high net-worth individuals in a wide range of complex and high stakes multi-jurisdictional commercial conflicts. Eugene’s areas of specialisation include energy and natural resources, international trade, joint venture and shareholder disputes, banking and finance, as well as fraud and asset tracing. Eugene is particularly adept at navigating the intricate legal landscapes of Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia, Switzerland, Cyprus, BVI, and the Middle East.

Eugene’s exceptional legal acumen and prowess have earned him recognition as an expert in energy and natural resources, real estate, and financial disputes in the most recent edition of the Legal 500 directory.

Ingeborga Dapkunaite
Ambassador

Ingeborga is a highly acclaimed Lithuanian-British actress with an impressive body of work that includes such notable films as Mission Impossible, Seven Years in Tibet, Kiss of Life, and Burnt by the Sun, which won both an Oscar for Best Foreign Film and the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival. Currently, Ingeborga is a regular cast member of the Norwegian TV series Occupied and has starred in several theatre productions alongside actor John Malkovich.

In addition to her achievements in the entertainment industry, Ingeborga has served as the Longines Ambassadress of Elegance for many years, and as an Ambassador of Beauty for L’Oréal. She also has an extensive experience in and fundraising for charitable causes and promoting palliative care internationally.
