New Year’s Party for Children from Internally Displaced Families

🎄✅ A Christmas party for displaced children in Zaporizhzhia: 120 gift sets and a festive performance at a local theatre.

🎁✅ £2,750 from our donor made the celebration — and all the presents — possible.

🪄✅ The incredible support of our friends and partners, You Are Not Alone Foundation, who brought URGENT’s magic to life on the ground in Zaporizhzhia.

We have been organising New Year celebrations together with the You Are Not Alone team for four years (2022–2025), always hoping that the next one will see these children safely back home. Many have lost their homes, and parts of the Zaporizhzhia region remain under occupation.

Sadly, the war continues. But that is no reason for our IDP children to feel “home alone” — especially at Christmas.
